Chantry House

This large family house has been designed through a collaborative process between the client and Jim Carfrae. Regular meetings have seen the design evolve to the point where both parties are happy, and the client retains a sense of ownership in the design of their house.

The house is another straw bale and oak framed natural building with very low energy demands.
This photo composite gives an idea of how the house sits in context with the landscape, and is an example of how we can use computer graphics to aid the design process.
